About Young Energy:
The Youth Energy project aims to train and empower a new generation of young leaders, gender-conscious, trained, interconnected and politically active who will play a fundamental role in Argentina's fair energy transition. To achieve this, the project will develop a series of milestones over the next three years and include teacher training, delivery of teaching materials to participating schools and regional/national youth forums.
This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The project is implemented by a consortium of three organizations, led by the Wuppertal Institut für Klima, Umwelt, Energie gGmbH (WI), as project coordinator, and with the 500RPM Foundation for the Development of Renewable Energies and the Siemens Foundation for Sustainable Development of Argentina as implementing partners.
