Recognized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic!

We are pleased to announce that our project "Strawberries from the Wind" has received support this year from the Embassy of the Czech Republic for its contribution to supporting small family farmers in the pursuit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Call for Development Cooperation Projects that the embassy develops every year has only one winner and this year we were honored to be one. This recognition, which entails a financial contribution, gives us the opportunity to carry out significant initiatives that have a positive impact on the community and the environment.

The implementation period extends until October of this year. The project seeks to achieve regional development by incorporating wind energy as a growth engine. It focuses on reducing poverty in rural peasant and indigenous community families, transforming inefficient livestock production into profitable and sustainable horticulture. In Chubut, 4,600 families live in isolated rural areas with water shortages and lack of access to electricity. The project promotes horticulture through wind power infrastructure, water pumping and drip irrigation on 1500m2 plots. Training will be provided to local technical schools, empowering women and generating revolving funds for expansion. It is expected to install 4 wind turbines, benefiting 148 people directly and over 2,300 rural inhabitants indirectly.

This recognition is a testament to the effort and dedication of our team, as well as the support of all those involved. We deeply thank the Czech Embassy in Buenos Aires for their collaboration in this process. We will continue to work with passion and commitment to achieve our goals and create a lasting positive impact. Thank you for believing in our project and being part of this important achievement!
