Talks and training on sustainable strawberry production in Chubut

March 2025, Chubut – The Strawberries of the Wind project continues to promote the development of rural communities through renewable energy, technical training, and agroecological production.
On Wednesday, March 19th and Thursday, March 20th, informational talks and training sessions will be held for young people interested in horticulture and those already working in the sector. These meetings will address key topics such as crop management, water pumping systems, drip irrigation, and production under microtunnels, with the goal of improving the efficiency and protection of strawberry crops. These sessions will take place in Tecka, Paso de Indios, and Los Altares.
Led by the 500RPM Foundation and INTA Esquel, this project seeks to strengthen horticultural production in the region by using wind and solar energy to guarantee access to electricity and water in isolated rural areas. Schedule of activities:
