In 2024, we manufactured six wind turbines in technical schools in Chubut, with theoretical and practical workshops involving more than 130 young people and more than 30 teachers. This process was more than technical: it was an immersion in innovation, territory, and climate action, in a context of collective learning.

We also initiated the creation of two Local Maintenance Hubs in Cholila and Madryn, with the goal of establishing local capacities. Three maintenance technicians and six technicians in sustainable horticultural production have already been trained.

Achievements in numbers:

• More than 130 people trained in wind turbine manufacturing, operation, and maintenance.
• Active participation of six technical schools, with the possibility of expanding to 25.
• Consolidation of demonstration centers in collaboration with local institutions.

Furthermore, the Esquel Polytechnic School was the scene of one of the most significant moments: the inauguration of a wind turbine built by its own students during the project's launch event, held in November 2024. This event was attended by the European Union Delegation in Argentina, local authorities, teachers, students, and beneficiary producers.

This strategy strengthens youth as key actors in territorial development and the energy transition. The project has established links with other public and private organizations, as well as with other initiatives in the province, such as the Energía Joven project. RedER Chubut will continue expanding its reach to new locations throughout 2025, recruiting producers, strengthening local technical capacities, and promoting a sustainable, inclusive, and clean-energy rural development model.
